Summary
Eddie supposes that you tend to form some sort of attachment to the person who saves your life. When you owe your life to someone, It’s hard not to develop some kind of connection to them. Even if it’s one sided.
So after Steve ‘the hair’ Harrington dragged his unconscious body, his dying body, away from them demobats, well, the dead bodies of demobats, and back to his trailer, well, the version of his trailer in the upside down, and proceeded to throw him over his shoulders and climb back up, and then down, that makeshift rope, and back to the over-world, to safety, while the others shouted urgently, there was no surprise that Eddie felt something about that.OR
Steve Harrington saved Eddies life, and in turn, Eddie develops a big fat crush on the guy.

“Good morning, Mr. Munson, is Eddie home? Um, that’s a stupid question, of course he’s home.” Steve chuckles nervously. Steve. That’s Steve at Eddie’s door. “Is he awake?”
“He’s awake, son, but I gotta warn you, he’s in a pissy mood today,” Wayne’s gruff voice replies.
“Wayne!” Eddie protests loudly.
“Just telling it like it is,” Wayne throws over his shoulder. “You still wanna come in?” He asks Steve.
“If that's okay, Mr. Munson.”
God, he’s so polite. Eddie hates that he finds it endearing.
“Please call me Wayne, son.”
Eddie doesn’t even get a chance to try and make himself look somewhat decent. Right away, there’s the sound of the door closing and then Wayne walks back into the living space with Steve in tow, looking perfectly put together in his neat polo shirt and blue jeans.
Eddie is still in his fucking pajamas, for fuck’s sake.

Summary
Arthur resigns himself to staying at uni over the Christmas holidays, with his mates going home and Merlin going back to his mum in Ealdor. He envisions peace and quiet away from his father and tries not to think about the sad, lonely meal he’ll eat by himself on Christmas Day.
He should have known Merlin — and Hunith — would never let him be alone on Christmas.
