Clark leans in closer, nose brushing lightly against Bruce’s— enough that Bruce jolts back with confused unease, blinking. “What’s the matter with you? Why aren’t you saying anything?”
Bruce watches with a returned rigidness to his stance as Clark flips back to stand on the ground— something almost ominous about how the Kryptonian’s eyes zero in on him with intense focus. The way he stalks up towards Bruce so menacingly has the Gothamite raising a cautious hand up, defensive.
“Clark…” He quietly warns, taking a wary step back from the other man. That’s the wrong move though, he soon learns, when a low and dark sound rumbles from deep within Clark’s chest— his eyes flashing and face twisting in displeasure at the growing distance between them.
Bruce froze.

Set after Dark Cacao's awakening. Dark choco had just finishing delivering the last of the choco shoots to the healers, Thankfully very few cookies had the pale ailment and more were able to survive since the Beasts defeat. Pondering on what to do next, he overheard some cookies talking of how his father had caught wind of his presence within the kingdom. Dark choco is sure if , no When he was caught he'd be executed. He had to leave immediately. But where would he go? The deserts! No cookie would think to find him there! And there'd be noone he'd hurt as he slowly untethered himself from the swords influence. It may still lie within the lair of The Cookies of Darkness but it still had a mark on his soul. He just hoped he wouldnt get into anymore trouble there. Oh how wrong he was. Now he is stuck ,imprisoned by the Beast of Destruction. Burning Spice cookie , whom was determined to make Dark Choco into his apprentice. Regardless of what Choco wanted. Will Datk Choco be able to escape or will he meet a fate arguably worse then execution?
