Intimidating as he seem, Michael Myers really isn't that deep. He's a sociopath with really only his and Laurie's best interest in mind. He's also kind of mean, especially to new people. Not that you can fault him for it. You don't know him and he doesn't know you. So there's really no reason to be so "buddy buddy".
But life, or in this case, a malevolent power hungry Lovecraftian horror, has a way of bringing unlikely allies together.
You call it unfortunate circumstance, we call it fate.

You took in a deep breath, held it a moment, let it out slowly. Then, you thought back to your argument with McCree, how he shouted angrily and scowled and glared at you through the whole thing.
Or maybe…maybe that wasn’t a scowl, but a grimace. Maybe his glare was filled with concern and wasn’t as heated as you first thought. Maybe his shouts weren’t meant out of anger, but out of fear of what could have happened.
Maybe there was something McCree was trying to say, but didn’t know how to say it, and hiding behind the anger of the moment was easier.
