Randy Adderson's life was in shambles, Marcia had left him for a greaser, they were still friends sure, but a greaser? Really? And there was the fact he was 99.9% sure his best friend had a crush on him. His parents divorced and since his mom left to California his sister and him had to stay with his dad, and they had yet another argument about Randy coming home late. He didn't understand, his father never cared before so why did he now?
So now he was sat at a curb, wiping his tears and wondering how this all happened when someone spoke up next to him. So now he had this greaser with him, and with that. He had to balance being friends with someone he shouldn't, his family, and The Socs.

It's been eight long years since Jack left for Santa Fe. After several misfortunes and a wedding invite, Jack returns to New York to a completely different family, pissed at him for his disappearance. It probably didn't help that he didn't tell them about his young daughter, Catalina. Angry about his disappearance, Jack is faced with an ultimatum: give up his worst coping mechanisms or give up his brothers.
