At least that was what Phantom was meant to be, but that wasnt who Phantom wanted to be.
Hollow wanted Phantom to be like him, a detatched god, and that meant Phantom needed to protect himself. But he didnt want the help of his brother, even if that mean them both getting hurt in the process.
Hollow would do anything to make up for that.
IMPORTANT
There was a slight miscommunication when making this fic, where I thought the character Ghost was Phantom, but it should be read as Ghost. This WILL be fixed in future fics! -

Showalter had shot him a smile as bright as the sun. “Anything and everything,” the boy had answered back.
Griffin had looked up at that, his eyes moving from the paper he was writing on to Showalter’s open face. “Anything and everything?”
Showalter’s smile shifted into something softer and Griffin tried not to think very hard about that. The boy had only hummed in response.
Griffin hadn’t pushed further and Showalter hadn’t told him.

Summary
Adora is desperate to return to land and reunite with Catra. The other mermaids don't understand her obsession. They believe all surface dwellers are evil, and Adora's existence is further proof to them of that fact: Shadow stole Adora as a baby to exploit her voice for profit, and was likely involved in the death of her mother. Adora keeps trying anyway, but the damage from growing up on land and her inner turmoil are preventing her from transforming.
Light Hope offers her a deal: she will turn Adora back into a human for three days. If she can convince Catra to forgive her sudden disappearance without revealing her true nature, then Adora's magic will be brought back into balance through true love's kiss. If not, Adora will have to return to the ocean forever.

Somehow, Till has the distinct feeling that Ivan isn't even exaggerating.

"What will you do with your free time, Hawkeyes?"
"Not sure yet. I will miss the challenges to my title…"
Crocodile chuckled. Then turned around. He showed Mihawk his back, confidently, proudly. And climbed aboard their small marine-flagged ship. Sengoku's courtesy. Over his shoulder he said, "I'm sure you are capable of finding something to entertain youself with."
