Ghost’s eyes go from the backpack and then he notices him giving him the full overview: from his feet on the hotel room carpet to his calves, to his groin, to his torso and finally Ghost’s eyes meet Soap’s. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I want you to wear your leathers,” Ghost replies, his hand tightening on the backpack he’s now closed completely.
Soap frowns. “I always do.”
Ghost’s face lights up again, and Soap swears there’s a little bit of pink in his cheeks now.
