Summary
Iwaizumi is nervous about proposing and maybe (possibly, potentially, perhaps) almost butchered the whole thing.
Maybe they can figure it out with the help of their friends - after Oikawa’s unpublished Reddit post putting him on blast.

”He won’t talk to me,” Oikawa repeats for the seventeenth time. “He just asks about my deep clean, and he’s really worried about if I cleaned a specific corner of the living room. What does he think I’ll find? Some girl’s panties?”
”You should add that to the post,” a gruff voice comes from the kitchen. Kageyama appears in the doorway a few moments later holding several plates of pasta. Oikawa never pegged him as a chef, but he supposes that living on your own for a few years would require being able to feed and sustain yourself. Pasta isn’t an incredibly difficult dish, anyway. “It’s definitely suspicious.”
“Iwa-chan doesn’t even like women!” An even more disembodied and muffled voice comes from… Kageyama’s ass? “You know that! But it is weird that he’s worried about that corner.”

“Your thoughts are so loud,” Hajime mumbled beside him, his voice lazy with exhaustion that Oikawa couldn’t relate to.
“Sorry, must be the fact that I’m sleeping shirtless next to a stranger in a strange house in the middle of nowhere,” Oikawa bit back instinctually.
Hajime just snorted at him, as if he was making a joke. “‘S’not that bad. Who knows? Maybe a bit of the country life could do you some good.”
“Yeah? According to who?”
“Well you did run away from home,” Hajime pointed out, and, well, yeah, Oikawa couldn’t really argue with that point. “B’sides, doesn’t seem like life has treated you too kindly so far. Change of scenery might not be the worst thing in the world.”

He’s miserable, depressed, traumatized, and unable to see a future where anything gets better. The solution, he decides, is running away and ending his life. Arch into his hold, back bending like a bow as he tries and tries and tries some more. To lessen the distance between them. Meld them together until he doesn’t know where one begins and the other ends.
He loves Iwa-chan a lot.
