“I know you can do it!” Sonic cheers Tails on as he lands on Knuckles’ hand once more, and in a second he is shooting through the sky like a comet.

”For what-“ Before he can get an answer though, Sonic pushes him from the cannon right into the vast space.

Summary
Shadow survived the fall after the Eclipse Cannon explosion, and is now alone in the middle of nowhere. Or, so he thinks - he quickly encounters a tiny purple mouse called Kaia, merely only 8cm tall, similar to himself and Sonic, who withstood some of the impact from his crash into the Earth. Racked with feelings of guilt, Shadow checks to see if the tiny mouse is fine, only to discover that she is incredibly chatty and insists on travelling with him for protection, much to his dismay.
Along the way, Shadow uncovers more about himself, with the help of his newfound tiny friend. Events/elements of the Shadow the Hedgehog game and Sonic X Shadow Generations will be loosely incorporated throughout the fic.

After dinner was quite literally devoured. They all helped cleaning up the table, even Tom tried to lend in a single hand. And after all that’s said was done, and Tails and Knuckles went to go do their own thing again.
Sonic, of course had to get stopped in his tracks. “Sonic, me and Tom would appreciate it if you came to meet us in our bedroom.” And with that Tom and Maddie went to their bedroom, their door just barely open.
Tom and Maddie must’ve sensed he was thinking of something, and not just something random. He bet it was Maddie and her weirdly accurate intuition skills. There was something about women and how accurate their intuition was that just scared Sonic.
So with one deep breath, he for once, walked at a normal pace into their bedroom.
