Two broken stars in a decaying orbit, passing closer and closer together until the inevitable, devastating collision.
Or, Tav is fucked up and down bad for Astarion, who doesn't quite see the appeal (but he's getting there). Sexual frustration, sloppy handjobs, a heavy dose of masochism, and way too many failed Insight checks ahead. Tav falls first, Astarion falls harder (eventually).
Or, a tragic-but-hopeful romance told through a series of incredibly ill-advised sexual encounters.
If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you.
Set during the canonical events of Baldur's Gate 3.

Felix gets hit by a truth spell and reveals that he has a secret crush. Sylvain tries to guess who it is.

Sylvain smirks at him, that curl of his lips that says that whatever is coming is going to be a terrible idea, and that Felix is going to go along with it. Sylvain’s fingers trace the sliver of skin showing where his shirt has ridden up. He splays his hand across the front of his shorts, cupping himself through them.
“We will leave you alone, then,” Dimitri says stiffly. He stands up, book falling from his lap and thumping on the floor.
“Why?” Sylvain asks. “Not like we haven’t jerked off in front of each other before.” He rolls his hips a little, and Felix has to shake his head to stop watching. He feels his cheeks flush.

Felix had argued vehemently, while Ingrid ripped the room apart to find clothing for them to wear and Sylvain listened at the cracked door to the soldiers downstairs informing the unimpressed brothel owner that they were conducting a routine search for spies from the Kingdom and would need access to all customer rooms, that there was no good reason he had to wear the costume and Sylvain got to keep (most of) his own clothes on.
Sylvain had—heroically, he thinks—refrained from saying either “You’re prettier” or “You’re so much smaller,” both of which are absolutely true and either of which would have earned him at least a minor stabbing.
