However, a series of unfortunate events send them wildly off course toward the mysterious Golden Empire of Yi Ti, a land unknown to them. Jhaegar 'Jon' Targaryen is raised by the noble jeonsa, legendary warriors known for their honour and skill in battle. When an old enemy of the Empire invades and slaughters most of the jeonsa of the northern provinces, Jon must adapt new methods of fighting to repel the invaders.

    To defeat his greatest enemy, Jon must become more than a jeonsa. He must become a Ghost, whose legend will spread to the far corners of the world, even reaching the Seven Kingdoms.

The displeased Gods decide it should take a greater role in the fate of humanity and wind back to a time before the world fell apart. Jon Snow, the Prince Who Was Promised, and Jaime Lannister are sent back to prevent The War of the Five Kings and unite Westeros under a single banner to avoid a terrible fate. Even with the advantage of hindsight, things never go as planned.
