Summary
Muyu sells the mansion that first spring and buys a small house tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. It's nothing fancy like the carefully selected abode Changhe gifted him with, but Muyu finds that he breathes easier in the quiet of his small courtyard, sleeps better in its singular room with a window that opens up to the osmanthus tree that grows in his garden.
He spends that summer waiting for it to bloom and when it did, Muyu thinks a knot in his heart loosens in anticipation.
