Summary
Now in their mid-twenties, Marinette returns home to their shared apartment to find Adrien cheating. Devastated, she immediately joins a mission in America for the Justice League.
Once the goons are all down, Robin, her long-time coworker (and even though he doesn't realize it yet, admirer) notices something off about Ladybug. He offers her a place to stay while she heals from her heartbreak, and his favor as a very kind Co-worker does not go without hijinks. Identity shenanigans ensue, healthy healing while also grieving the loss of the relationship, and conversations about the future. Feelings also occur between them but... Damian wants to be more than just a rebound.
Side plots include: Tim losing his mind over Damian coming into the office dressing fashionably in MDC and Jason is losing his mind trying to track down the random pixie woman who healed his pit madness.
TL:DR: Marinette crashes on Damian's couch while healing a broken heart. Mutual respect and appreciation thrive here. Sad for a second but gets happier as it goes.

Or: In which Harry lives in the snake-infested equivalent of a TARDIS and pseudo-adopts an incredibly confused but still relentlessly ambitious Tom Riddle.
Tom thought he was hallucinating, to begin with. Suddenly, between the dilapidated Potions store and the magical equipment repair store, there was a dizzyingly green overgrowth of plants and vines and venomous flowers that only parted to show a door when one stood directly opposite it. The greenery practically burst out of the walls and even between the cobbles of the cobblestone path outside, as though it was carnivorous, insatiable, uncontainable.
He initially presumed that it might be some kind of exotic plant shop, but then he heard the whispers from within, and noticed that, if he squinted, the twisting, writhing vines above the door seemed to spell out a single word: Serpensortia.
Tom was inside the door before he knew it.
