He breathes him in for a moment, watching an idea flicker across his features. He loops his tie back and forth like he’s wrapping his hands for a fight. Methodical and calculated, pulling hard on the fabric as if to try and tear it.
“What are you thinking?” he prompts softly, once the silence has stretched past thought and into doubt.
“I thought we could try something new, if you’re up for it?”

Summary
Except Jason has taken ‘flatter the owners’ to an extreme that Tim didn’t anticipate, and he’s almost shaking with this not-jealousy. He pins her with green eyes and wide pupils, smiles with his teeth like a terrier. All of his attention is placed squarely on her. He lets her whisper in his ear and toy with his necklace, breathe in the musk of his cologne. She steals his cigarette, his drink, blows smoke in his face just to tease him, and Jason watches her lips every time.
In which Jason gets a little too flirtatious on a mission, and Tim is absolutely not jealous.

Tim folds his lips, eyes following the cut of Jason’s body. “It sounds dumb when you put it that way, but I’ve always been a sucker for a guy in body armour.”

“You’re rambling,” Jason stops him, holding up a dismissive hand. “You came to me for sex advice?”
He expects Tim to balk at that, deny it faster than he can get the words out. But he doesn’t. He just continues to stare down with that same straight face. This isn’t like Tim. Sure, he’s nervous and fretful at the best of times, but Tim doesn’t make a decision without his full confidence behind it. The Tim that he knows wouldn’t just show up here unless he knew exactly what he wanted, and why.
