Summary
When Dick was bitten, he was taken to the vampires to join them.
Instead he killed them all, poisoning their blood, staking them, burning them with UV light.
He didn’t need anyone in his new world order. He needed no old hands or old ways to stop him from taking over the entire world.
He started in Gotham.
He ended in Gotham.
Dick should’ve expected Bruce to already have known what had happened, to have seen what Dick was doing and prepare to stop him.
Bruce could’ve killed Dick, could’ve stopped vampirism entirely.
Instead he strung Dick up in the Batcave, because Bruce refused to give up on his son.

Tears. literal tears made me pause a couple of times reading this. Very good. Very angsty. Atrocious cliffhanger/pos had me appalled despite me having knowingly clicked and read this knowing that there was only 1/2 chapters out. I'd say no regrets but maybe slight regret purely because now I will have this painful story on my mind all weekend and then some until chapter two is out. For real had me hanging on the edge of my seat, highly recommend, although be warned, this crap sad as heck.
