A SVTFOE fic in 2025? More likely than you think!
Once again, I have caught brainrot and I need to get these funky ideas out outta my head!
Marco and Tom get caught under the light of the Blood Moon, but Marco flees before Tom or Star can discover who he is. And that would be fine, but when Marco wakes up to his mouth in pain the next morning, he finds out he's in for more than he bargained for.
The moon is a symbol of transformation, after all~

He had been neglecting his relationship with Marco and it was beginning to become a problem. One night while Tom was focused on reading some demonic literature, Marco started to pester him for attention. Marco decided he was going to get Tom's attention one way or another.

Star clapped her hands together once, saying with excitement, “Okay! Now it’s time for games!”
She held out the glowing blue box and explained, “Ponyhead lent me this cool game for us to play! It’s called Truth or Punishment! She said it's all about telling your friends your deepest, darkest secrets. What better way is there to get to know each other than that?”
Marco’s brain processing skidded to a halt the moment the word “secrets” fell from her lips.
“Nonononononono, no way, I’m out- you guys can play that game if you want, but I think I’m good, thanks!” Marco blurted immediately, already rising from his seat on the pillow below him, ready to retreat to his room, “You can come get me when you’re done-”
Star grabbed his arm and pulled him back down before he could make his escape, whining, “Marco, Marco, Marco, Marcoooooo. Why don't you wanna plaaaayyyyy?”
Marco couldn’t even bring himself to meet her eyes as he mumbled out an answer, hoping Tom didn’t catch the way Marco’s eyes subconsciously flicked to him for just a second, “I just think maybe some things are better kept secrets.”
