Summary
It was no secret to anyone at Kimetsu Academy that Tanjiro Kamado and Kanao Tsuyuri were close. He was, after all, her best friend.
Every day, the pair would walk to and from school together. She came to his family’s bakery so often that they basically considered her family. He helped her emotionally process a lot of past trauma to overcome her social anxiety. They practically became inseperable after a their first year of friendship. Many people had teased the two about being a couple, but they had always ignored them and lived according to how they viewed themselves and each other.
But everything began to change with the upcoming school dance.
