Summary
Noelle Holiday is entering her final year of High School. It's been four years since her sister's death. She's on her way to the fanciest college her parents can get her into, to get a degree in...something. Her father's in the hospital. She can't stop letting people talk over her. And finally, Noelle is hopelessly in love with another girl, and it's only a matter of time until her mother finds out.
Susie Sauria is entering her final year of High School. Susie knows that she's never going to be able to make anything of her life. She has one (1) friend, and is reasonably sure they'd ditch her if given the chance. She's teetering on the poverty line. Her father's a jackass. She wants to move out, but that would require her to have a place to go afterwards. And finally, Susie is stuck getting tutored by the smartest girl in her class, and it's only a matter of time until that too falls apart.
At the moment, they couldn't be more different. But through heartache and hardship, they'll find themselves inexorably drawn together. A lot can happen in one school year, and this is one that they're sure to never forget.

Summary
The girls are now second-year students of Everfree State University. Though still good friends, they've drifted apart. None could have expected the bloom of awkward love to be the thing that brings them all together again. Least of all, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Alternative Universe: The girls' powers operate differently from the films, thus altering certain canon events. Magic is still a secret to the world at large. Humans also have normal flesh colors. Oh, and I refuse to acknowledge that Spring Breakdown ever happened.

After finding the Hollow Earth, humans full-heartedly believed that they had a new advantage over the titans. It was a new place to study, and everyone saw the power Kong's axe held. It could pierce Godzilla's skin unlike their missiles or torpedoes.
Because, now, the titans that had been dormant were now active. Not aggressive, just awake. They were all peaceful and seemed passive. Except for one.
Rodan.
He was very, very mad. He went out of his way to attack humans and destroy human settlements. He wanted revenge against them. Because of the oxygen destroyer, his home was devoid of life. Isla de Mara was uninhabitable.
Well, there was one small creature. A tiny crab. So small that it looked like the pebbles it buried itself in. However, this crustacean was born from death. And would bring it soon.
Humanity would need the Titans.
But the Titans don't need Humanity.
