The door to the theater opened behind her, making her sigh. She’d really been hoping to be alone. On instinct, she turned to see who else had come in, and nearly did a double take when she saw who was slipping into a seat in the backrow.
She spun back around to the face the screen, her face heating up just in time for the single trailer to play. What the fuck was he even doing there? She settled into her chair a little more, shrinking as if that would make it so he didn’t notice her there.
Footsteps. Her heart sped as suddenly Shane was no longer behind her, but getting into the chair next to her. What was he playing at right now?
Movement caught her eye, and she couldn’t stop herself from looking over at him. Holy shit, what the fuck?
Shane was leaned back in his chair, his arms up and over his head. Perfectly relaxed, and seemingly normal. Except for the fact that he was just…out. Just hanging out in the open air.
