Summary
Book 5 in the Breakaway series featuring:
Dev— a blueliner rookie with a traumatic past living with Alex and Eli for his first season on the Hounds’ roster, and Theo—Alex’s half-brother who shows up seeking sanctuary after being inhospitably booted from his college/trust fund when his parents find out he’s trans.
After an antagonistic introduction, Theo and Dev realize they may have more in common than they initially thought (and maybe they should kiss about it??), but they’ll have to engage in a “friends with benefits” agreement full of mutual pining for a good long while before admitting anything like feelings—all while dealing with hockey-related subterfuge, blackmail, and parents who probably shouldn’t be.

Summary
Ben had become intimately familiar with the idea of "transformation" over the course of this summer- so much so that he was pretty sure he knew more about it than anyone on earth ever had or ever would. Most people didn't have access to alien superpowers and a completely different form at their literal fingertips, after all. One trip to the future later, that outlook completely changed, and Ben realized that not only could he not possibly be more wrong, but that there was a lot he didn't know about himself, too.
Transfem Ben/Jen AU. Oneshot turned ongoing. Nothing super intense or heavy but far from fluff in a lot of passages, so be warned.
