Summary
Jehan was always trying to help. That's what they did - they helped each other. Through the depression, through the addictions, through the loneliness and awful decisions. Grantaire just never quiet expected him to help by mail ordering him an android boyfriend on a drunken whim.
So when a large case from "Kronos Industries" shows up outside his door he does what any sane person with no idea what's happening would do.
He takes it into his apartment, drinks with it, and talks to it for several days.

“I’m curious,” Damian says, voice low, only heard over the music because he’s so fucking close Tim can feel his warm breath against his cheek. “Is it because you can’t do anything with your broken arm? Or is it about me?”
Tim’s heart thuds in his chest. His stomach does an awful flip from aroused to terrified in the span of a second. This is a nightmare, this can’t be happening.
“I don’t know what you’re asking me, Damian,” he croaks.
