Someone—and Harry might murder them if he ever finds out who—digs something up in old records proclaiming that Harry is not only the Heir of Slytherin as all Parselmouths are, but Lord Slytherin by Right of Conquest after killing the basilisk. Students start coming to Harry for protection and other gifts he can grant them as Lord Slytherin. Harry thinks this Lord business is the stupidest thing he’s ever heard, but all he needs to do is offer them protection and so on without becoming too full of himself. So it’s doable. Hopefully

Summary
AU. The Potter twins survive Voldemort’s attack. However, Albus Dumbledore knows that the root cause of the war, pureblood bigotry and hatred against Muggles and Muggleborns, will endure even if Voldemort never returns. He therefore asks Lily and James to send one of their sons to grow up in the Muggle world while training the other to battle Voldemort, so that together the twins can smooth over the differences between the magical and Muggle worlds in the political arena. And perhaps it might have worked, if not for abusive Dursleys, Harry’s inability to fit into the magical world or his family when he learns of his heritage, and a boy named Theodore Nott.

After Dumbledore dies and Harry finds out that the locket is fake, he hides himself away in the library, searching day and night for any answers to who the mysterious 'R.A.B' is. Harry stumbles across a book called 'Affairs of the Heart', a book that concerns soul magic. Surely that shouldn't just be lying around? But Harry's curiosity is piqued, and one thing led to another and now he's waking up on the Hogwarts grounds, looking up at the headmaster he watched die mere days before.
Marked Mature for language, manipulative undertones, and chapters later on that will have either violence or mild sexual content.
