    Bonnie Peterson and her twin brother Nate were not the sole survivors of Vault 111. When it was opened 215 years after it was sealed shut by Vault-Tec, the survivors were assisted by the Brotherhood of Steel to form a settlement in nearby Sanctuary, and learn to live in the new, post-nuclear world.

    While Nate joins the ranks of the Brotherhood, under the sponsorship of Paladin Danse, Bonnie takes the role of liason with the Brotherhood's leader, Arthur Maxson, and learns to find confidence in her abilities as the leader of Sanctuary.

    However, the Institute is growing more dangerous every day, and the Brotherhood must find a way to locate and defeat the mysterious organization before they are defeated from within.

    While Nate and Danse come closer to finding their way into the Institute, will Bonnie and Arthur find a way into each other's frozen hearts?
