Summary
His father's death was supposed to be the end of it. When they buried him, Chris buried his pain for the last time; but that much pain never stays buried for long. Days later, his father's lawyer shows up at Chris's door bearing an inheritance settlement and a threat: sign over ownership of his dad's house to the Aryan Empire, or be prepared to defend it. As Chris struggles with what this inheritance might imply about his father's feelings for him, Harcourt adds more pressure by forcing him to see a psychologist.
