Vash froze in the doorway of a small cottage he had tucked away in the woods. The one Knives never would have found if he had ignored reports of a Hunter nearby. Wolfwood may not have remembered Knives, but Knives would never forget the foul scent of the man. The light from a lamp flickered, spilling orange across his brother’s face as he sucked in a shaky, uneven breath. His features were sharp in this life, but his eyes still had the same downward turn as before, soft and forgiving. Knives wanted nothing more than to press his lips to the beauty mark below his left eye, run his tongue along those pursed, worried lips.
Vash swallowed. “How did you find me?”

Knives loved Vash and he was willing to wait as many lifetimes as he needed to for Vash to love him back.

Nick stood his ground but found his eyes briefly drawn to odd details, like the a silver hoop pierced through Blondie’s ear or the way the dark scruff of his undercut contrasted with the flop of wild golden hair falling over his right eye. “What do you want from me, my soul?”
With a long once over that scraped Nick from head to toe, Blondie unclasped his hands and held his left one out between them, palm up. He gave a delicate twist of his wrist and the black glove dissolved into his skin to reveal an intricate hand formed of the same gnarled wood as his horns. Ephemeral veins of dark blue and teal pulsed through the wood, the glow there and gone again in the blink of an eye. He wiggled his fingers and winked at Nick.
“Why don’t we shake on it and find out later?”

As Izuku and Katsuki trudge back to their encampment after a draining diplomatic excursion, Izuku laments how long it's been since they last had proper time alone together. He's pent up and judging by Katsuki's sour mood he's just as horny and upset about it. If only they had an excuse to stop so that Izuku could fuck that sourness right out of his partner.
After nearly drowning in a river, Izuku finds the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Summary
An evil stirs in the Aldera Mountain Range, and six young adventurers hand picked by the renowned and retired hero Yagi are sent to investigate it.
The problem is that their leader Katsuki and his appointed second-in-command Izuku cannot stand each other. They were in love once but ambition has made them worse than enemies, they are strangers.
The problem is that Izuku has a secret so dark and shameful that the party would hate him for it if they ever found it out. They do.
The problem is that they are attacked and the party gets split when Katsuki and Izuku are captured. If the two of them can’t work together they will die and the great land of Hothe will fall with them.
Can they overcome their differences to make it out alive or will Izuku’s secrets and Katsuki’s resentment doom them from the start?
