Sarada blinked. “Huh?”
“But shinobi men—” Sakura widened her eyes dramatically. “Because they have to be so strong and tough, they learn to keep their emotions locked down. For years. Decades. Their feelings can lie dormant forever. And even when they do know, they hide it. Because it wasn’t safe to express anything out loud.”
Sarada scoffed. “That sounds ridiculous.”
“It’s true!” Sakura insisted. “Don’t give a ‘lack of reaction’ so much weight. Sometimes they’re just really, really good at hiding.”
