Celine stilled for fraction of a second, brush pausing on her compact as she prepared to apply blush to her other cheek, before resuming the motion.
Rumi and Mira exchange glances.
“Celine?”
Celine hesitates to continue, but knows that she must now see it through. “Yes, Rumi?”
“Do you recognize that name?” She asks.
Celine shook her head at the memory, avoiding eye contact and closing the visor mirror. “I knew a friend with that name at one point, but it was a long time ago.”
Celine stared down at her hands as she held the positive pregnancy test, shaking slightly.
