Summary
"Gojo- Gojo’s gone, he’s… dead.” Yuuji’s voice is shot, like he’s been using it extensively for a while now, and his expression is stricken.
Megumi doesn’t feel it, doesn’t feel much of anything, but he hears his own voice ask “how?” as his mind is attempting to wrap around the fact that, according to Yuuji, Gojo is dead. The idea alone is laughable, but Yuuji doesn’t seem playful, he seems like he’s about to cry again.
There’s a ringing in Megumi’s ears, slowly growing louder the longer he stares off at the pool of blood in the distance, but he can still hear Yuuji’s next words. “Sukuna… he- he killed him.” Yuuji does choke up at that, his hand covering a sob, but Megumi doesn’t process it.
All he knows, all he can hear, all he can feel, is that Megumi killed Gojo.
Or: Megumi finds out what happened to Gojo

After Fushiguro Toji's death, the Zenin clan plans to pluck Megumi from his home and take him under their wing and their roof. But Gojo Satoru has gotten to him and claimed him first. He has also paid the Zenin family home a visit, to flaunt, and to make sure they never pay Megumi a visit of any kind.
("Custody battle" meeting where the Zenins think they'll raise Megumi and Gojo laughs and informs them there will not be a custody battle.)
