Summary
By his understandably shoddy memory, Jaskier had died over 1300 times since he first drew breath several hundred years ago.
Somehow, none of those deaths ever seemed to hurt as much as the dreams of Geralt.

Summary
They set out from Kaer Morhen together, planning to stay ahead of anyone who might be looking for Ciri and to look for answers about why Nilfgaard is searching for her. It's an odd party: a witcher, a sorceress, a princess... and a bard.
There are untold threats after them, the wilds are a dangerous place, and there is something seriously weird going on between Geralt and Jaskier.
It's starting to look like, despite everything that's happened to her lately, Ciri's managed to stumble her way into a family. Now they've just got to keep each other safe.

Summary
"My name was Julian Alfred Pankratz. I was the Viscount's youngest son."
Like he hoped, the Warlord hones in on one thing. "Was."
"Pretty sure getting arrested for treason against Emhyr var Emeris, the mighty White Flame is enough to get me officially disinherited. Especially considering my parents turned me in themselves."
Jaskier saves the Warlord's daughter. Despite his family ties, he's allowed to stay in Kaer Morhen while he recovers from his injuries. Eventually, it becomes home.

Summary
Geralt realizes, quite suddenly, that Jaskier is aging. He desperately asks the mages for any possible solution, something that could make Jaskier not so terribly mortal, and he finds his answer in an old elven ritual. Geralt decides to use this on Jaskier and himself. He can share his slow aging with Jaskier, and he won’t have to lose the person who, aside from Ciri, might be most important to him.
He just has to make sure that Jaskier doesn’t figure out that they are, technically, getting married.

Summary
The next day comes around and, when they come across a village at a crossroad, Jaskier books himself a night in the inn and Geralt continues North. Jaskier doesn’t ask if they’ll see one another again. He knows, deep in his bones with a certainty far beyond his years, that the answer is yes.
It is not until he is bathing that evening that he realises why the answer is yes.
He’s so used to the occasional ink splattering on his skin that needs washing off, that he doesn’t even note the words in block cursive travelling up his thigh for what they are for a good moment. Instead, he rubs absently at them with his small bar of soap, waiting for them to dissipate from his skin.
They do not.
He blinks.
Blinks again.
Shit.
A soulmark.
-///-
Or, when soulmates lie to one another, those lies are immortalised on each other's skin. Jaskier and Geralt tell each other a lot of lies.
