This is an interstitial fiction for "Tattoo? What Tattoo?". It fills many spaces that canon doesn't, primarily concerning the immediate psychological impact of what happens during that episode. It's broadly canon-compliant, i.e. Robin/Marian is the core romantic pairing and Guy/Marian is a coercive, unrequited relationship — but it is an indisputably Guy-centric piece.
Multiple POVs appear, and no view completely represents the authorial one, so don't worry if the characters seem to hate each other ... but read at your own risk!
