His heart fluttered and for one moment he let himself feel. Deep in the recesses of his mind, he felt the same. He always pushed it back when it bubbled up, always ignored how his heart raced when she looked at him or smiled. Pushed back the urge to hold her hand when they were side by side. Always acted like she was annoying, that she bothered him. And in some ways, she did. Not in the way he put out into the world. But in the way that he wanted to do things for her. Soft, mushy, girly things. Like go on dates or hold hands. He always ignored that part of him. Trauma did that, in some ways.
“Sakura...thank you.”

He couldn’t wait to marry her, assuming she said yes. He walked to their shared living room, seeing her place two mugs onto their coffee table, snacks already laid out on a plate.
“Tea is done!” she smiled over at him as she started to braid her pink locks.
Sasuke smiled softly back, stopping behind her to finish her braid for her. “Thank you.”
Sakura blushed prettily as Sasuke tied her braid. “You’re welcome, Sasuke-kun.”
Sasuke played with the ends of her braid for a few more seconds before brushing it over her shoulders. “Sakura…”
“Hm?” Sakura leaned fully into Sasuke who’s arms came up to wrap around her.
“Will you marry me?” he asked, looking down into her green eyes. -

Summary
Sasuke snorted, squirting shampoo into his hands and lathering it in his hair. The dobe was probably over the moon that he was doing paperwork for the village that raised him. Rinsing the shampoo out, Sasuke’s mind shifted to the person who he was missing. It was two months ago that he was able to see him for a brief five minutes. His body and soul were aching for another meeting, even if it was brief. The day that he got to see him was the best five minutes of his life, having been pining after him since he was 12. That day he remembered vividly, having lived off that memory during his mission to keep his spirits high.
“I’ve missed you Sasuke-chan. It’s been way too long since we got to have time to ourselves. When I come home I’ll make it up to you, I swear it.”
Shutting off the water, Sasuke sighed wearily, his heart aching. -

His eyes trailed to where the seam of Hikaru’s opening now reached his navel. “How uh… how far down does it go?” he asked, letting his anxiety and fear give way to excitement. His fingers instinctually reached nearer, tracing a path up Hikaru’s side.
“All the way down, I think,” the entity said. He sucked his bottom lip into his mouth, canted his hips into the touch. “I’ve never tried.”
Yoshiki brought his lips back to the opening that was still wet and glistening with his saliva. He swallowed hard. “Do you mind if I…?”
OR
Yoshiki and Hikaru discover that Hikaru's chest opening goes all the way down. Yoshiki explores it thoroughly.
(Spoiler alert: Hikaru doesn't taste like chicken.)

Yoshiki wants to know if some part of Hikaru still lives inside the possessed version. He gets a complicated answer. And they have sex about it.
It was cold inside him. Yoshiki thought.
Like marinated chicken. It was his first thought, his first audible thought.
And then Hikaru moaned and now he was thinking about it. Now the sounds Hikaru made were sticking to him and overriding rational thought.
It was cold. He reminded himself… because Hikaru is dead.

Hikaru, unconscious to the tempest in Yoshiki's head, cocked his head and smiled.
The seam at Hikaru’s collarbone parted first.
Yoshiki wants Hikaru to touch him, wants Hikaru to wear his skin and meld inside him, wants Hikaru to want him. He knows it's sick. He wants it anyway.
