Summary
Keeping everyone away had worked to have the few people that remained out of harms way, but for the demon that guided Dante to Mallet Island harm wouldn't come as easily. Having Trish much closer to him than anyone had been in years weighs heavily on Dante, as some shadows from the past come to haunt them and make hell break lose.
There's too many things to learn of humanity, and how painful memories can be is just one of them.

During an especially cold night they found themselves looking for a refuge, the old Arkham manor being the first place they found after running through the woods. While exploring the place a strange maid found, offering a fireplace along with the story of the people that once lived here– in particular a young man, the young lady of the house, and a girl, and how all of them disappeared along with everyone else in the manor.
