Suddenly, the line is washed away in the sand, and neither demon nor angel can tell if they are crossing it or not, and rather, if they really care at all.

    The road to hell is paved with good intentions, they say, but Aziraphale starts to wonder whether his slow surrender to these little sins of Earth are leading him astray, or simply to a life he's too afraid to outright want.

    Lord, tell me, if this is a sin, why does it feel so holy?

Over 6,000 years ago, he was abandoned by his family, and only a year ago, he was abandoned by his lo- angel, and he very much just wants to be drunk and forget about all of it, at least for a few years.

    But the truth comes after him whether he likes it or not. His siblings show up like only siblings can to drag him back in with some shit about the Second Coming and him being in danger, as if they suddenly care. But Heaven’s civil war is not at all what most celestials think, and it all comes back to him. No drama like the very first family’s drama.

    Change is hard on everybody, you know? So when the guy you've been friends with since the dawn of creation, who you also may or may not be in love with, who you're extremely fucking furious at, who you actually maybe deep deep down don't hate as much as you tell everyone, disappears, it's going to be hard to wrap your head around the fact you're never going to see him again.

    Well, if he actually stayed away, that is.

    OR: Crowley goes to America to kill himself after the events of S2 only to end up as the prime suspect in the LAPD's investigation of the murder of Harriet and Thaddeus Dowling.
