In late 2012 when Shane has a meltdown and frantically tells them to call Lily, for the first time Yuna’s ever witnessed, Shane is coaxed out of one of them instead of just suffering through until the exhaustion wins out instead—and all by some mysterious, apparently very well attuned to Shane, 'Lily'.
She hadn’t meant to see the number before she’d pressed it and fumbled the phone up to Shane’s ear. It was simply a byproduct of the situation, something Shane had asked for her to do.
…Memorizing it and then texting that number to thank Lily for their help was not something she’d been asked to do. But she worries so much about Shane, and Lily is a reassurance. Not a pry for details but the simple, verifiable confirmation: he’s okay.
Lily, on the other hand, very much enjoys being able to make oddly specific 'your mother' jokes to Shane much more often now. (And maybe the whole family piece of it, too.)

Summary
The memory of Shane’s face the first time he had entered him has been permanently tattooed on his brain for years. There have been very few nights where the image of Shane arching back with his eyes closed in bliss has not haunted him, so many times that he knows it as well as his own. But this Shane, the one underneath him right this very moment, is going to be his undoing. It’s the same mouth open around a soundless cry, the same eyelashes fanning over freckled cheeks, the same shock of black hair against a pillow, but the expression is peaceful in a way that Ilya has never seen.
In comparison, Ilya is unraveling. He can feel every cell of his body vibrating on a frequency that threatens to dissolve him into an entirely different state of matter. Here, inside Shane with nothing between them, he is going to split apart and be made new, something beyond flesh.

Oh my god, I didn't know there were any copies of this left on the internet. For those who don't know, this is like. This is a foundational text of hockey RPF. This is from before hockey RPF was really a thing even. It's from the mid-aughts and wasn't posted to a fanfiction website. Instead, OP dropped this insane RPF manifesto onto a normal ass hockey fan forum (which no longer exists) then deleted their account like two days later. Just handed this to a bunch of jocks and hockey bros and dipped. Legendary shit. Like, I don't think this kid even knew what fanfiction was, the fucking hand of god just compelled him to write about being an MLH player's sex slave and show it to the world. I pray every day that this insane child actually made it to the MLH and got to meet Scott Hunter.
So maybe Shane had a little crush on Scott Hunter in his younger years. So maybe he anonymously posted online about it once. So maybe it had become an internet legend and a running joke in the MLH.

“Fuck off,” Shane snaps. But Ilya just presses deeper into him, the answering gasp as familiar as if it came from his own lungs.
“You don’t think so? I saw you doing yoga together. Seemed like you were...” Ilya searches for the words. When he finds them, grins. “Admiring his form.”
OR
Breaking my silence to say that I think Hollanov would have a threesome and they'd have it with Luca Haas. But don't worry, they're obviously jealous and possessive and insane about it the whole time.

“Mmm, yes. I’ve been so miserable without my husband. I want you home.” he groans. “Now, preferably.” he adds and Shane huffs a laugh.
