    Starscream will ascend the throne soon, and if he wants to secure his position, he’ll need to go to the algorithm and learn who his trinemates will be, whether he likes it or not–and he doesn’t. Not at first, at least.

To be trine, you had to give up that level of autonomy; had to accept becoming one spark (one mind) across three frames, had to accept that the mecha you’d bonded were as much you as you were them.

    There were no secrets a seeker could keep from their trine, or so it was said.

    Skywarp vehemently disagreed.
