In the absence of happily-ever-after, all that’s left is to pick up the pieces and pray for the best. Aline is home. Alicia is home. Neither will speak to him. Renoir does not push the matter. Clea keeps him busy enough, and he is too tired to force his suit with the family. In his heart, he knows someone will say something they regret. It is better to keep apart a while longer.
And he still has his memories. Decades of moments to fall back on, to rely on, while they heal.

To commemorate NaruHina becoming canon in Naruto, here's my smutty contribution. This is my first NH fan fic and I'm going to be brusque—if you're looking for a cute, innocent, vanilla-sprinkled lovemaking scene staring our favorite couple—you won't find it here! I'm extremely perverse, which is why it's taken me this long to finally write a NH fic. So many sweet and innocent NH lovemaking fics exist out there and I didn't want to add another. I saw no point. What I have in store for NH, I wouldn't call it "lovemaking". Again, to be brusque—Naruto's going to fuck Hinata relentlessly like there's no tomorrow. You've been forewarned, so don't cry in your comments or reviews about how out of character Naruto and Hinata are. If you're looking for fishcakes and sunbursts, go somewhere else—now!
