First at six when she was chosen to become a Vestal, a priestess of Vesta who would remain pure for thirty years of service. Then, again her life pivoted a second time when she was brutally ripped from the familiarity of the Vestals and thrust into a life - and marriage - for the sake of politics she’d never desired to be part of. Then, for a final time as feelings begun to swing like a pendulum back and forth between hatred and love for one who she should hold no feelings for.
