Jordan gets cursed with bad luck from a pop-up ad and looks for help in Marie.
Jordan’s in a new shirt when she sees them. Rather, when she hears a deep sounding yelp from a few yards away. They’re wearing a dark colored sweatshirt that hides the grass stains they just obtained from their chin meeting Golkin College’s newly mowed lawn. The sky is turning purple above Jordan as he walks towards her.
“You changed shirts” she says as they step into the golden fairy lights of the street. “And is it okay for me to say you changed forms?”
Jordan swipes at stray pieces of grass on their elbow. “Yeah, and you look great by the way.”
Marie nods, eyeing the way the light glimmers in their eyes. “I’m wearing the same thing from this morning.”
They tilt their head to the side as they smile, “and it looks as good as it did a few hours ago.”
