Katsuki frowns. “You think I’m in love with fucking Deku?”
Deku flits to the forefront of his mind. Deku who he apologized to, who forgave him, who became his friend happily and without hesitation. Who told him about One For All, who is unflinchingly brave and stupidly reckless and thinks Katsuki is amazing.
“Shit,” Katsuki says, “I’m in love with fucking Deku.”

Izuku and Katsuki head home after a New Year's Eve party with the rest of their old classmates. Izuku tells Katsuki how grateful he is for their relationship, to the point that even if they broke up, Izuku would be happy they had these past few years together at the very least.
Katsuki, however, is not pleased by Izuku's choice of words and shuts that insecure attitude down immediately with a few choice words of his own.

Izuku bares his fangs and sinks his teeth into Katsuki’s skin, biting him with the force of a claiming mark.
Katsuki’s vision goes white, alphan venom entering him and overwhelming his entire body with pleasure. It feels like all of Izuku’s feelings, thoughts, obsession, and love have been injected directly into his bloodstream, like a drug potent enough to make his mind fuzzy and back arc off the ground.
