Summary
Daniel Molloy has spent decades writing about monsters. He never expected one to be writing back.
It starts with letters. Handwritten, elegant, filled with details only someone who was there could know. Daniel dismisses them at first—every writer has crazy fans. Then the letters get specific. Personal. And Daniel finds his first book, the one he wrote decades ago, filled with annotations in the same elegant handwriting:
"This is where I fell in love with you."
"You're my favorite."
Daniel thought he knew what obsession looked like. He's spent his career studying killers, profiling the worst of humanity. But he's never seen anything like this. Because his stalker isn't just watching him. He's been watching Daniel for decades. And he's not going to stop.
OR
Armand is Daniel's biggest book fan and he starts writing creepy little love letters talking about Daniel's work and his obsession in general.

Summary
“I said I’m fine, Alice,” Daniel snaps, and time itself grinds to a halt.
Not literally. Ha. The things you have to specify with vampires. Daniel wishes he could laugh, but the sound is stuck somewhere in his throat, along with his heart. Now, of course, his hand chooses to be perfectly still.
Why the fuck did he say that?

daniel keeps slipping up and mistaking armand for his ex-wife and the more he looks back on his memories, the less reliable they get. he's pretty sure he married alice molloy, but how do you marry a woman who apparently never existed?
armand is armand about it.

Summary
Daniel does not remember the other man's name but he remembers tentative laughter, the reflection of his eyes in moonlight, whispered-words, a hand in his as they walked through Paris. He remembers his own begging. He remembers how the other man cried tears of blood.
He shrugs with a half smile, "I am Armand," he says sadly, "But you will forget by morning."A reimagining of Devil's Minion, wherein Armand stalks Daniel throughout his life after 1973 in an ongoing affair of blood and memory loss.

Summary
Armand has notes for Daniel's documentary on Lestat. He sends him unhinged emails about it. Armand breaks into other people's minds so he can stalk Daniel more efficiently. (I'm trying to channel the pure insanity of Devil's Minion, but also tie in the current season. There will be one chapter per Vampire Lestat episode).
“I drank that disgusting drink so you could taste it,” and he holds out his still-bleeding fingertip. Smiles: small, tentative. “Please?”
Daniel’s crossed the room, and he’s cracked down to his knees which Armand wasn’t expecting (Armand almost calls out: “your knees!” forgetting Dan’s bones are no longer human bones), and he has Armand’s finger in his mouth and he’s sucking. Armand gasps in, horks in the air. Staggers back so he’s got his other hand bracing on the counter.
“How do I- taste?” Armand hisses.
Daniel guides Armand’s knuckle deeper, then pops it out. “Vermouth. No annihilation.”
