Summary
Iris joined Taskforce 141 a year ago as a Lieutenant with double utility as high-priority negotiator and ironically enough- a sniper. As such- she is always on her feet, always hopping in convey trucks or parachuting out at drop points. Her peers would say she works and plays hard, but has always managing to tactfully keep her 'coworkers' in the task force at a comfortable and close arm's length.
That't not to say she doesn't care. She has dragged them through mud while they scream for help, and held their hands as they got stitched up in a medics tent. She's even been know to climb into a sick recruit's bunk to hold him though his feverish nightmares. She just... doesn't need that kind of help herself. Even when injured or held captive she magically finds a way to make it the most convenient process for those around her. No drama, no problems. Just smart, helpful, and lethal.
All this effort is bound to wear down a person, especially when they make a mistake of a lifetime on a simple hostage extraction.
