Well, it could have to do with his little act at the restaurant. He shouldn’t open the door. Right? Hinata could find the things he had hidden away. The poison, the gas mask, the knife, the laptop… That wouldn’t do, his plan needed to work. Especially because…
“Komaeda!” Hinata growled, loudly knocking on the door again, and Komaeda felt a thrill of excitement. He could tell the other boy was angry, and Hinata was fun to mess with when he was angry… he got flustered, and his face turned red, and just a smirk from Komaeda would get him to start fumbling his words.
Maybe he should open the door.-----
Hinata comes knocking on his door and Komaeda has zero self-control. After all, his end approaches quickly...

Summary
Hajime seemed to have realized that Nagito was in love with him before Nagito realized it himself. This wouldn’t have been much of a problem had Hajime not realized two days later that he loved Nagito back. They’d had a sort of awkward back-and-forth in which they attempted to express their feelings, and the eventual conclusion was that they’d move slowly and see where it went from there. Then they’d awkwardly gone back into their cabins, and Hajime had spent the last two hours having an existential crisis because what the FUCK just happened.
And then, as if the universe had decided that Hajime needed more confusion in his life, Nagito came crashing through his cabin door at exactly 11:00 at night.
____________Nagito shows up at Hajime’s doorstep badly injured, and Hajime’s there to mend both physical and mental wounds.

“Hey, uh,” Hajime clears his throat, trying to keep his lungs from collapsing like his sanity. “I don't know how to tell you this but, we… accidentally got the old surveillance cameras up and running somehow and, uh— I mean, I immediately turned the screen off but— um.”
There’s a stretch of radio silence on the other end that feels a bit too long again.
“Ah… haha, just my luck…” A slight wheeze in his laugh, and he’s a little breathless for reasons Hajime didn’t want to think about, but he didn't sound all that miserable.
“Right. So. Just wanted to let you know that I… can see you.” His mouth feels painfully dry just saying the words, “And h-hear you. In case you… wanted to, y’know, do something about that.”
“Oh,” Nagito answers like he simply forgot to water his plants for the evening, “So then... does Hinata-kun want me to stop?”
