"MARIMO!" Sanji shrieked, his voice hitting an octave Zoro didn't know a human male could achieve. "I'm not here! You see nothing!" Sanji yelled, frantically shoving loose sheets of paper under a massive encyclopedia of food. "Go back to sleep, you mossy parasite! Drop dead! Blind yourself!"
"What the hell are you doing?!" Zoro yelled back, finally snapping out of his trance.
"Nothing! Cleaning! I'm cleaning the table with paper!"
"You're hiding papers under a book about seaweed, curly!"
"It's a delicate filing system!"One particularly crisp, ink-stained page drifted lazily through the candlelight, flipping over in the air before landing smack-dab on the countertop right in front of Zoro’s chest. Zoro looked down.
Printed in large, bold, beautifully typed letters at the top of the page was a title:

"I thought it was obvious!" Zoro yelled back in a harsh whisper.
"It wasn't!"
"I follow you around the ship constantly!" Zoro argued, stepping even closer into Sanji’s space.
"Because you're annoying and you have zero sense of direction!"
"I sleep better when you're nearby," Zoro countered cleanly, his voice steadying.
Sanji’s heart gave a violent, dangerous thud against his ribs. "That's... that's just a coincidence."
"I steal your dress shirts from the laundry line."
"YOU WHAT?"or; The problem is that Roronoa Zoro is apparently courting Sanji like a stray cat.

Sanji ran, as fast as his battered legs could take him. He could hear everyone screaming at him to stop, the rapid firing of weapons swirling around him.
Once he saw Zoro, he dropped down beside him. Instantly moving to pick him up and tossing one arm over his shoulder
"Zoro...Zoro stay with me"
Sanji was met with silence
"Come on Marimo, remember what we said? We have to move forward together"
Zoro was still unresponsive, blue eyes began to burn with tears

It probably said something about Zoro that he was jealous of Law.
So repeatedly hearing his long-time rival/sort-of love interest passionately cuss out another man rubbed Zoro the wrong way, what of it? He took a deep inhale of the Cook’s scent in silent retaliation.
Anyways.
(Or: Zoro killed Sanji after the raid on Onigashima. Then he woke up on Sanji’s shoulder.)
