Summary
After eating a strange, glowing fruit on a mysterious island, Luffy falls into a deep sleep and is carried back to the Going Merry by Zoro and Sanji. Hours later, a ravenous hunger jolts Luffy awake, prompting him to sneak into the kitchen. Hearing the noise, Sanji investigates and is startled by a pair of glowing amber eyes in the dark, but the room is empty when he flips the light switch. Sanji returns to bed, dismissing it as a hallucination, unaware that the sleeping Luffy's eyes briefly flash with that same mysterious amber glow.

Exactly as the title says. I'll put it in simpler words:
Evil Morty is a yearner. Evil Morty is lonely. Evil Morty is mad that Morty Prime didn't choose him and chose Rick instead.
He decides to contact Rick under the threat of the Omega Device, and slowly but surely made it more and more obvious. He did it to try and make Morty Prime leave Rick bcuz his trust was broken.
