Summary

“Take my blood, then,” he offers, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Cellbit can feel his teeth press against his lower lip, the fangs coming in. Roier’s smell is overwhelming, saccharine sweet. Just the thought of getting to taste him makes Cellbit feel like he’s about to lose control. He thanks the gods above he’s too weak to move, otherwise he would have Roier pinned beneath him already.
“You don’t understand what you’re offering,” Cellbit hisses.
“You’re in pain. I don’t wanna see you suffer.”
Roier looks at him like a kicked puppy. He’s got exactly what Cellbit needs, offers it on his own volition, and still, Cellbit hesitates. He can’t recall the last time he fed on a human, much less a human he deeply cared about.
“Please,” Roier says, pulling up the sleeve of his sweater, “Let me help you.”
And that sliver of bare skin is enough to make Cellbit blackout.

Or: After being injured by the Federation, Cellbit needs human blood to heal his wounds. Roier volunteers to help his friend, but neither of them could have expected the consequences: a soul-bond that will put their feelings for each other to the test.

There was a time Dream believed he’d rather die than expose himself to anyone in this way. Even after meeting George, it took years. The first time George kissed him, he knew. Their first time was awkward, but so truly them, and Dream expected nothing less. George was out of practice in the “vagina arena,” as he’d said, making them both burst out laughing. Dream didn't mind.
“Hi,” George says, smiling.
It’s stupid. A single word, hardly a full syllable, should not be enough to send heat pooling into Dream’s cheeks. It shouldn't be enough to make him hide behind his hands, but it is. George giggles and smooths his hands over Dream’s legs.

“It’s so beautiful isn’t it?” Dream looked over to the man beside him, a soft smile on his lips.
George’s face was tilted away from him, his body resting against the stump of a tree. His shirt was tattered and mouth still bloodied from the feeding earlier that day. There were still warm bones on the ground.
George matched the blue of the sky, broken capillaries sprinkled across his skin like constellations, greyed skin the darkness of the clouds. The whites of his eyes had darkened to red and they no longer glowed with human brilliance (it’s okay, Dream didn’t mind).

Summary
Tallulah doesn’t turn around, but a man does. He has a guitar on his back, and bags in his hands. The sun glints off of his glasses, and he has a hat on that looks like Tallulah's. Actually, even from a distance, Cellbit can see a lot of similarities between him and Tallulah.
The man, who seems to have spotted Tallulah, drops to his knees and opens his arms, letting his bags fall to the ground. Tallulah doesn’t slow, launching herself at him and wrapping her arms around his neck. He takes it in stride, putting his own arms around Tallulah’s middle. Cellbit can see his mouth moving, but he can’t tell what’s being said.
Which is distinctly not good, considering Cellbit is in charge of Tallulah, and he does not know the man currently hugging her.

“I’m so happy,” Sapnap whispers, and George wants to cry. He rubs his hand across the warm skin, the soft fuzz of his happy trail. A baby, a little tiny pup, growing inside Sapnap. Tiny yet immense. He wonders if it can feel how loved it is already, if its tiny little body can comprehend or even consider such a quantity.
His body shakes in a silent sob. He recalls Sapnap’s excitement when he presented, enthusiasm undeterred by George’s amusement or Dream’s bewilderment, waxing poetic about how you have to hold a baby so its head rests on the left side of your chest because they need to hear your heart, about tiny hands and hearts and clothes, wonder and awe and love clear in his voice.
“Baby, what’s wrong? Why are you sad?” Concern creeps into Sapnap’s voice.
“I’m not,” George says. Sobs, really. “I didn’t — I didn’t know till just now. Dream told me in the — in the car and I didn’t know and I feel bad because I’ve been so rude and selfish and I didn’t know. I love you. And I love your baby and I’m so so happy for you and — and I love you.”
