“Kaveh,” he managed to choke out, voice wrecked, and Kaveh looked back up at his face, red eyes wild with fright. “’m sorry,” he murmured, weak, and Kaveh inhaled, reaching up to steady Alhaitham’s left shoulder.
Oh, Alhaitham was pitching sideways. His head felt like it was too heavy, lolling to the side, and Kaveh was speaking louder then, faster, but colours were dancing nauseatingly in Alhaitham’s vision, and his extremities were beginning to tingle and go numb. He shivered, involuntarily, coming to the realisation that he was freezing cold, and Kaveh’s hand cupped his cheek, words slurring together in a loud and frantic mess.Alhaitham comes home in the early hours of the morning, bleeding in his desire for Kaveh.

Summary
Kaveh’s tattoos are praised by celebrities and magazines alike, but somewhere along the path to his success, the meaning bled out of his art. Then, after ten long years, Alhaitham rides back into his life on a motorcycle - rugged, quick-witted, and infuriatingly unforgettable.
With love laced into the ink Kaveh had long since stopped believing in, something beautiful finally begins to take shape once more.
There, standing beneath the stupid Books sign and holding his helmet in one hand... was Alhaitham. He was older and broader - somehow impossibly more attractive - but it was undeniably him.
Kaveh staggered to a halt in the middle of the street and tried to recall how to breathe as he devoured the sight of the same handsome bone structure he had spent years trying to either find or forget - only now more chiseled, more ruggedly defined... more ruinous.
Alhaitham’s eyes, at least, hadn’t changed at all. With a breath that caught audibly in his throat, Kaveh lost himself in the piercing, hypnotic teal irises that he hadn’t seen since their gazes last locked across a study table in the high school library.

Summary
Waking up, Kaveh is confronted with water dripping from the ceiling into their kitchen. He finds a missing shingle on the roof and fixes it temporarily with the help of Mehrak. But there is no going around hiring workers, since both he and Alhaitham are busy.
Alhaitham gets overstimulated by the construction noise, Kaveh gets angry over the incompetence of the workers.
Losing their patience, they turn to each other. Their old bond evolves into something new, buried feelings coming to light like construction defects under the watchful sight of a building supervisor.- Language:
