Summary
Carmen is sent to college for a semester when waiting for her arm to heal. Supposedly, she needs to have “normal” experiences—or at least that’s what Shadowsan said.
While she’s incredibly bored out of her mind, her teacher, Professor Argent, introduces her to this underground Carmen Sandiego theorist community. As Carmen dives deeper, she feels moved by the ringleader’s observation and kind words towards her heists.
It’s a breath of fresh air from the constant bombardment of VILE’s plans disrupting her life.
And hey, maybe this was a well-deserved break.
