    Eddie had to work with B shift since he switched with someone so he could accompany his son on a trip. With his Abuela and Pepa away in Texas and Carla on vacation, and Buck coming off a 24 hour shift, Eddie leaves his son with his girlfriend Ana. with a frantic phone call that Chris is at the hospital and he's at least thirty minutes away he calls his best friend who is only ten minutes.

    “What are you doing here, this is a family matter?” Ana asked
    “Eddie called me cause I was closer. And I am family. Has the doctor been in yet?” Buck asked as he continues to run his fingers through Chris’s hair to calm him down.

    “But you are his family not Buck, he shouldn't be here.” Ana said
    “Yes, he is family. He's Christopher's 2nd emergency contact after me, when I can't be there, and he can that's who makes decision.” Eddie said. “There isn’t anyone in the world that I trust with my son more than Buck. He will always fight for what's best for him.”
