In the seconds it takes for Izuku to plummet to the ground, Izuku’s mind never stops thinking— it doesn’t matter that he doesn’t have any time left to think.
Shigaraki, trapped in his own mind and fighting his supposed Sensei for control over the course of several hours, has no use for internal ranting and monologues— yet it feels as though he has all the time left in the world for his thoughts.

Summary
Being woken up by loud noises, usually screaming, was getting too commonplace by this point and as Denki woke up, the only surprising thing was who was yelling. Denki jumped out of bed and threw a shirt on. As he stumbled out of his room, he saw a few other members of class 1-A rushing down the stairs to see what was going on.
Sero, who had to have heard the yelling from the fifth floor, made eye contact with him and together they grinned. This had to be good.
Afterall, Todoroki was screeching bloody murder from the common room.
