Summary
I love Sense and Sensibility and I love Jane Austen, but I've always been way more interested in the romance between Marianne and Colonel Brandon than the one between Elinor & Edward. Their story isn't told with as much detail, especially toward the end, so this is my attempt to explore what may have occurred between them. Not at all criticizing Austen (imagine!). I totally understand that their romance was not the main focus of the story. I've just always wished I could sort of zoom in on what exactly happens between them during the time between Marianne's illness and their wedding. Particularly with emphasis on how Marianne's character develops and changes.
Anyway, here's my crack at it. Enjoy!

Summary
Rumor and gossip surround Marianne after her embarrassing display at the ball.
Fearing for her and her sister's reputations, she runs to Colonel Brandon, begging him to marry her.
She quickly learns though that being his wife may not be as horrible as she'd once imagined.
In fact... it may be the best thing that has ever happened to her.
I picture the characters as the actors from the 2008 mini series, which if you haven't seen, GO DO IT DOWN! Incredible!
