    Ryland Grace thought that working on secret government science projects and then being basically bitten by a radioactive spider and then turning into a gosh-darn superhuman would be the wildest thing that ever happened to him. Because why wouldn't it???

    But then one day, after coming home from his perfectly NORMAL job as a school teacher, he senses something. Something new, yet familiar. After trying to chase his best friend's worry away (that certainly won't bite him in the butt, no....) he walks into his house and finds...NINE other spider people. A good chunk of them, by the way, are TEENAGERS and he's pretty certain that he shouldn't be ok with literal kids runninga round risking lives. He's a teacher, for crying out loud!

    “That’s because we are the best of the best.” The class clown cut in.
    “No, it’s because adults are stupid.” Ryland was too stunned to scold her.
    “Hey! Don’t insult Mr. Grace’s friends! That’s not a nice thing to do.”
    “Wait, what about it is so obvious?” Ryland was quickly losing the thread of the conversation and he needed to find out so he could protect them to the maximum of his abilities.
    “Well, for one I think you’re the clumsiest grownup I know so it makes up for countless memes.”
    “There are memes?!?!” Now he was truly worried.

    That was before everything that had happened to him. Grace had gotten himself stuck in a sticky web that was becoming his new life. Willingly, or unwillingly, he was too trapped in it now to turn back.
